Ohio Revised Code, Title 31 Domestic Relations and Children

Ohio Revised Code Title 31 contains provisions on domestic relations and children. Chapter 3113 addresses neglect, abandonment, and domestic violence involving children, covering court procedures, protective services, and funding. Chapter 3109 governs child abuse prevention, custody and visitation, and cases where children were conceived by rape or sexual battery. Section 3101.01 limits marriage to one man and one woman and voids same-sex marriages, though this is unenforceable following Obergefell v. Hodges, 576 U.S. 644 (2015). Chapter 3129 defines “gender transition” and prohibits physicians from providing "gender transition"surgeries or hormones to minors.
