18 AAC 72.080 - Validity of approvals

(a) A final approval to operate issued under this chapter is valid indefinitely unless otherwise stated in the approval letter or as provided in (b) or (c) of this section.

(b) A plan approval is invalidated if the wastewater system is

(1) modified without prior approval of the department or authorization with a permit modification; or

(2) operated in a manner inconsistent with the approval conditions, design, or record documents.

(c) A plan approval or registration is valid only for the system components, configuration, construction standards, and locations approved by the department and on file with the department.

(d) An invalidated approval or registration may be reinstated upon request in accordance with 18 A AC 72.290, 18 AAC 72.560, or 18 AAC 72.660.
