5 AAC 01.030 - Unlawful possession of subsistence finfish
(a) No person may
possess, transport or place into the possession of another person's
subsistence-taken fish or their parts which the person has taken contrary to
state law or regulation.
(b) No
person may possess or transport raw or unprocessed subsistence-taken fish or
their parts if the items have been received from a person who took, possessed
or transported the items contrary to state law or regulation and if the person
receiving the items knows, has reason to know or should have reason to know
that the items were taken, possessed or transported contrary to state law or
regulation.
(c) No person may
possess or transport raw or unprocessed subsistence-taken fish or their parts
that the person knows were taken, possessed or transported contrary to state
law or regulation.

At its February 23 - 27, 1993 meeting, the Board of Fisheries readopted 5 AAC 01.030(b) and (c) in their entirety without change, under ch. 1, SSSLA 1992 (the 1992 subsistence law), which repealed and reenacted AS 16.05.258.
