Ariz. Admin. Code § R17-6-304 - Safety Lighting Device Requirements
A. A permittee or driver of an oversize or
overweight vehicle or load shall:
1. Comply
with all applicable lighting equipment requirements under A.R.S. Title 28,
Chapter 3, Article 16, and 49 CFR 393 as incorporated by reference under A.A.C.
R17-5-202 ; and
2. Operate with the lighting equipment
illuminated at the times specified under A.R.S. §
28-922.
B. A permittee or driver of a vehicle
transporting a load that projects more than four inches beyond the overall
width of the vehicle shall attach safety lighting during nighttime operation
according to the requirements provided under Illustration 4, and
R17-6-307, that most closely
correspond to the permittee's or driver's vehicle and load
configuration.
C. A permittee or
driver of an oversize vehicle or load that projects more than four feet in
front or rear overhang, shall attach safety lighting during nighttime operation
according to the requirements provided under Illustration 4, and
R17-6-307, that most closely
correspond to the permittee's or driver's vehicle and load
configuration.
