Ariz. Admin. Code § R3-11-703 - Maintenance Standards for a Veterinary Medical Premises
A Responsible Veterinarian shall ensure that:
1. All exits, corridors, and passageways
inside and outside the veterinary medical premises are unobstructed at all
times;
2. Combustible material such
as paper, boxes, and rags are not allowed to accumulate inside or outside the
veterinary medical premises;
3.
Temperatures are maintained between 65°F and 90°F in each room where an
animal, other than livestock, is treated or housed;
4. Floors, countertops, tables, sinks, and
any other equipment or fixtures used in a veterinary medical premises are
maintained in a clean condition and sanitized after contact with an animal or
animal tissue; and
5. Animal
compartments are cleaned and sanitized at least once every 24 hours when an
animal, other than livestock, is being housed and after each animal, other than
livestock, vacates the compartment.
