Fla. Admin. Code Ann. R. 40E-1.610 - Permit Renewal
(1) Holders of
renewable permits shall make timely application as required by Rule
40E-1.603, F.A.C., for renewal
so as to avoid expiration during the renewal process. When timely application
is made, the existing permit shall not expire until final agency action, or if
the permit is denied or the terms limited, until the last day for seeking
review of the District order or a later date fixed by order of the reviewing
court.
(2) Application for a permit
renewal is timely only if actually filed at the District prior to expiration of
the existing permit. Mailing the application does not constitute
filing.
