Fla. Admin. Code Ann. R. 62-610.650 - Description of System
(1) This type of
reuse system involves the use of reclaimed water from domestic wastewater
sources for cooling water, wash water, or process water at industrial
facilities.
(2) Use of treated
industrial wastewaters for land application, recycling within the industrial
facility, or other reuse or disposal methods is not governed by Chapter 62-610,
F.A.C. Reuse or disposal of industrial wastewaters is regulated by the
Department's industrial wastewater rules.
(3) The reclaimed water flowing out of the
industrial process shall be considered as an industrial wastewater and shall be
subject to regulation under Chapters 62-4, 62-302, 62-520, 62-521, 62-522,
62-620, 62-621, 62-650, 62-660, 62-670, 62-671, 62-672, and 62-673, F.A.C.,
except as provided in Rule
62-610.668, F.A.C.
(4) Food Processing. Reclaimed water shall
not be used in the manufacture or processing of food or beverage for human
consumption where the reclaimed water will be incorporated into or come in
contact with the food or beverage product.
