Fla. Admin. Code Ann. R. 64B4-7.005 - Qualified Supervisor of a Sex Therapist
In order to be a "qualified" supervisor of licensees who are completing the requirements to hold themselves out as sex therapists, a person must:
(1) Be licensed as a clinical
social worker, marriage and family therapist or mental health counselor
pursuant to Chapter 491, F.S., a psychologist licensed pursuant to Chapter 490,
F.S., a physician licensed pursuant to Chapter 458 or 459, F.S., a person
licensed in a comparable field in another state or a person in such field who
was not required to hold a license and meets the equivalency requirements of
Rule 64B4-11.007,
64B4-21.007, or
64B4-31.007, F.A.C.;
(2) Have completed the education requirements
of paragraph 64B4-7.004(2)(a),
F.A.C., or have met the requirements of subsection
64B4-7.004(3),
F.A.C.; and,
(3) Have a minimum of
one hundred (100) hours of clinical experience in the provision of sex therapy
services.
