Fla. Admin. Code Ann. R. 6A-6.0577 - Career Dual Enrollment Courses for Florida Education Finance Program Calculation
(1) Districts may
request review of career dual enrollment courses and course descriptions to be
approved for funding through the Florida Education Finance Program (FEFP). To
be approved, career dual enrollment courses must meet the criteria in Section
1011.62(1)(i)2., Florida Statutes. To request review of career dual enrollment
courses for approval, districts must submit the following information to the
Florida Department of Education's Division of Career and Adult Education: the
postsecondary course number, the postsecondary program in which the course is
offered, and the industry certification(s) on the CAPE Industry Certification
Funding List, found in Rule
6A-6.0576, F.A.C., to which the
course leads. These requests must be submitted to
industrycertification@fldoe.org.
(2) The list of approved career dual
enrollment courses eligible for additional full-time student membership in the
FEFP is posted on the Department's website at:
https://www.fldoe.org/academics/career-adult-edu/cape-secondary/resources.stml.
(3) In order to generate funding, the student
must be enrolled in an eligible career dual enrollment course and the student
must earn a grade of "A" or better in the course. This course grade must be
assigned by the postsecondary institution of enrollment upon completion of the
entire course.
