Haw. Code R. § 13-90-1 - Prohibited activities
No person shall catch, take, possess, or remove nehu (Stolephorus purpureus) from the waters of the State except for family consumption or other purposes, provided that:
(1) Any small mesh net used shall not exceed
fifty feet (15.24 meters) in length; and
(2) Not more than one gallon (3.79 liters) of
nehu is taken per day.
