Haw. Code R. § 13-95-50 - Kuhonu crab
(a) It is unlawful
for any person to possess with the intent to sell, or offer for sale, any
pa[BAR]pa'i ku[BAR]honu less than four inches in length or in width across or
along its back.
(b) It is unlawful
for any person to take, possess, or sell any pa[BAR]pa'i ku[BAR]honu with eggs.
Any pa[BAR]pa'i ku[BAR]honu with eggs caught must immediately be returned to
the waters from which the crab was taken. The possession of any pa[BAR]pa'i
ku[BAR]honu, showing indications of its eggs having been scraped or removed is
prima facie evidence of a violation of this section.
(c) It is unlawful for any person to pursue,
take, or kill any pa[BAR]pa'i ku[BAR]honu in the State with a spear.
(d) It is unlawful for any person to offer
for sale any speared pa[BAR]pa'i ku[BAR]honu.
