Haw. Code R. § 16-97-28.5 - Application for reactivation
(a) An inactive
licensee who has been on an inactive status for six months or less within the
current biennium may reactivate the license as a principal, sole proprietor,
detective agency, or guard agency by submitting an application and the
appropriate fee.
(b) An inactive
licensee who has been on an inactive status for more than six months may
reactivate the license as a principal or sole proprietor by submitting an
application, reactivation and any other appropriate fee, a criminal history
record check from all locations in which the licensee has resided since placing
the license on inactive status, a national criminal history record check from
the FBI, information on any psychiatric or psychological treatment recommended
since placing the license on inactive status, and any other information the
board may reasonably require to process the application.
(c) An inactive agency licensee who has been
on an inactive status for more than six months may reactivate the license by
submitting an application, reactivation and any other appropriate fee, and a
criminal history record check from all locations in which each partner of a
partnership, member of a joint venture, manager or member of a limited
liability company, and each officer of a corporate entity has resided since
placing the license on inactive status.
