Haw. Code R. § 17-1417-2 - Goals

Adult day care services for disabled adults shall be provided in accordance with the following goals:

(1) To prevent or reduce Inappropriate or premature institutional care by providing community-based care; and

(2) To prevent or remedy neglect, abuse or exploitation of adults who are unable to independently protect their own interests.
