Haw. Code R. § 17-2040-31 - Reexaminations
(a) At least once every twelve months, the
authority may reexamine a family's income, composition and any other matter
necessary to determine the participant's rent and eligibility for continued
housing assistance.
(b) If at the
time of admission or reexamination, a family's income cannot be reasonably
anticipated for the next twelve-month period, the authority may schedule a
special reexamination at any time prior to the next annual reexamination when
deemed necessary.
(c) The
participant and owner or landlord shall be notified in writing by the authority
of the results of any reexamination within a reasonable time.
