Ill. Admin. Code tit. 56, § 210.640 - Student Learners in Work Study Programs
a) A student learner may be paid at a
sub-minimum wage rate in accordance with Section 6 of the Act for the length of
the course or for the time in which he or she receives course credit, whichever
is shorter.
b) The employer or
school must apply for a license to employ a student learner at a sub-minimum
wage rate on official forms furnished by the Director. A license may be issued
for the purpose of employing more than one student learner in the same
capacity.
