Contested cases include, but are not limited to, the following:
(1) An appeal of a decision
to grant or deny a permit pursuant to Iowa Code sections
207.4 and
207.5;
approval or failure to approve a transfer pursuant to Iowa Code section
207.12(5);
appeal of a decision of the division on an application for coal exploration
pursuant to Iowa Code section
207.18.
(2) Permit suspension or revocation
proceedings pursuant to Iowa Code sections
207.14(3) and
207.14(4).
(3) Review of a notice or order pursuant to
Iowa Code section
207.14(7).
(4) Employee discrimination complaints
pursuant to Iowa Code section
207.28.
(5) Suspension or revocation of a mining
license pursuant to Iowa Code section
207.3.
(6) Bond forfeiture proceedings pursuant to
Iowa Code section
207.14.
(7) Appeal of the determination by the
division of the amount of a bond pursuant to Iowa Code section
207.10.
(8) A request to conduct mining in areas
where otherwise prohibited by Iowa Code section
207.8
