Kan. Admin. Regs. § 106-3-3 - Standards for approval of psychological testing

(a) Each assessment of an applicant for certification that is performed to determine the absence of a mental or personality disorder shall, at a minimum, include a psychological test that is generally accepted in the community of licensed psychologists to be valid for law enforcement candidate selection consistent with the standards provided by the society for industrial and organizational psychology, inc. in "principles for the validation and use of personnel selection procedures," fourth edition, dated 2003. Pages 3 through 61 of this document are hereby adopted by reference.
(b) Each psychological test administered shall be scored and interpreted according to the recommendations of the test's publisher and by a person appropriately licensed to score and interpret psychological testing.
