Kan. Admin. Regs. § 106-3-4 - Verification of high school equivalence
Verification of "the equivalent of a high school education," pursuant to K.S.A. 74-5605 and amendments thereto, shall mean any of the following:
(a) A general
education development (GED) credential;
(b) proof of program completion and hours of
instruction at a non-accredited private secondary school registered with the
state board of education of Kansas, or of the state in which instruction was
completed, and a score in at least the 50th percentile on either of the
following tests:
(1) American college test
(ACT); or
(2) scholastic aptitude
test (SAT); or
(c) proof
of admission to a postsecondary state educational institution accredited by the
Kansas state board of regents or by another accrediting body having minimum
admission standards at least as stringent as those of the Kansas state board of
regents.
