Kan. Admin. Regs. § 28-18-11 - Confined feeding facilities; federal requirements

For the purpose of issuing federal permits and administering NPDES program requirements, the following definitions and provisions, as in effect on July 1, 2006 and as amended by 72 fed. reg. 40250 on July 24, 2007, are hereby adopted by reference:

(a) The concentrated animal feeding operation exclusions specified in 40 C.F.R. 122.3(e) and 40 C.F.R. 122.3(f);

(b) the provisions addressing concentrated animal feeding operations specified in 40 C.F.R. 122.23(b), (c), and (e), and 122.42(e);

(c) the provisions addressing concentrated aquatic animal feeding operations specified in 40 C.F.R. 122.24 and appendix C to 40 C.F.R. Part 122 ; and

(d) except for 40 C.F.R. 412.32, 412.44, and 412.46, the provisions addressing effluent limitations for concentrated animal feeding operations specified in 40 C.F.R. Part 412 .
