La. Admin. Code tit. 46, § LIX-601 - Contested Proceedings
A. Before
revoking or suspending a license or registration card, or imposing fines or
costs over $500, the board will afford the applicant an opportunity for a
hearing after reasonable notice of not less than 15 days, except in a case of a
failure to maintain the required insurance or when a registrant is found
carrying an unauthorized weapon while performing the duties of a security
officer.
B. All requests for a
hearing must be submitted in writing to the board.
