Mich. Admin. Code R. 330.2702 - Deemed status
Rule 2702.
(1) The
department will accept, in whole or in part, the accreditation of a national
accrediting organization deemed acceptable by the department as documentation
of the community mental health services program's equivalent compliance with
certification standards.
(2) The
department shall not grant deemed status for matters related to the
safeguarding and protection of recipient rights.
(3) The community mental health services
program shall request deemed status in writing and shall include all of the
following documents:
(a) A copy of the
official document indicating accreditation.
(b) A copy of the written survey report from
the accrediting body.
(c) A copy of
the program's response, if any, to the report from the accrediting
body.
(4) The department
may deem the community mental health services program to be in compliance with
certification standards, in whole or in part, after reviewing the submitted
documents.
