Mich. Admin. Code R. 400.15310 - Resident health care
Rule 310.
(1) A
licensee, with a resident's cooperation, shall follow the instructions and
recommendations of a resident's physician or other health care professional
with regard to such items as any of the following:
(a) Medications.
(b) Special diets.
(c) Susceptibility to hyperthermia and
hypothermia and related limitations for physical activity, as
appropriate.
(d) Other resident
health care needs that can be provided in the home. The refusal to follow the
instructions and recommendations shall be recorded in the resident's
record.
(2) A licensee
shall maintain a copy of the annual health care appraisal on file for not less
than 2 years.
(3) A licensee shall
record the weight of a resident upon admission and monthly thereafter. Weight
records shall be kept on file for 2 years.
(4) In case of an accident or sudden adverse
change in a resident's physical condition or adjustment, a group home shall
obtain needed care immediately.
