Mich. Admin. Code R. 400.2421 - Residents' funds; access; safekeeping
Rule 421.
(1) A
resident shall have access to and use of personal funds belonging to him in
reasonable amounts, including immediate access to at least 5.00 of his personal
funds. Exceptions shall be subject to provisions of the assessment
plan.
(2) The maximum value of money
and valuables a congregate facility shall accept for safekeeping shall not
exceed the amount of 400.00 per resident.
(3) Residents' funds shall be kept separate
and apart from all funds and monies of the licensee and treated as a trust
obligation of the licensee.
