It is the duty and responsibility of each owner, manager, and operator of a certified molluscan shellfish facility:
A. To ensure that all regulations are
strictly adhered to and that only safe, wholesome, unadulterated molluscan
shellfish are offered for sale to the consuming public.
B. To ensure that the facility is properly
supervised at all times and all molluscan shellfish can be identified to
guarantee that they were harvested from approved and conditionally approved
growing waters in the open status and that they have been handled and processed
in a sanitary manner.
