In addition to the requirements in Chapter 8, the written policies and procedures manual for the operation of Respite Services must also include the following areas:
A.
Written description of responsibilities of Respite Service
providers/workers/mentors/volunteers. Documentation must be maintained in the
personnel record that Respite Service providers/workers/mentors/volunteers have
read the description of responsibilities.
B. Written description of specialized
training required for Respite Service providers/workers/mentors/volunteers.
Documentation must be maintained in the personnel record of each Respite
Service provider/worker/mentor/volunteer that has received the specialized
training.
C. Description of
procedures for developing and implementing behavior change/management services
for children/youth served on a regular basis.
