Nev. Admin. Code § 504.370 - Acceptance of late claim

The Department may accept a claim that is filed more than 5 business days after the claimant discovers the damage if:

1. The claimant gives written notice of the damage to the Department within the 5 business days; and

2. The claimant shows that his or her failure to give timely notice was:

(a) For good cause;

(b) Not caused by his or her lack of diligence; or

(c) Caused by the Department.
