Nev. Admin. Code § 616B.922 - Scope

The provisions of NAC 616B.922 to 616B.948, inclusive, apply only to an offender who is injured or killed in the course and scope of his or her employment in a work program directed by the administrator of a county jail, city jail or other local detention facility and only if the administrator of the jail or other detention facility has provided and secured coverage from an insurer under the modified program of industrial insurance pursuant to NRS 616B.029. The program does not include:

1. Coverage for an injury that occurred before the offender was confined at a county jail, city jail or other local detention facility.
2. Any service or benefit for vocational rehabilitation.
