N.J. Admin. Code § 13:62-4.14 - Exhaust system
(a) The outlet
for the exhaust system shall be outside of the vehicle and extend at least to
the rear of the front firewall.
(b)
The exhaust system shall be designed and constructed so as to direct the
exhaust flow out and away from the driver.
