N.M. Admin. Code § 18.19.5.57 - REINSTATEMENT OF SUSPENDED LICENSE - CONDITIONS
The department shall not reinstate a driver's license to any person whose license has been suspended under the provisions of 18.19.5.55 NMAC unless the conditions specified in 18.19.5.57 NMAC are met.
A. That person presents proof satisfactory to
the department showing successful completion in a timely manner by that person
of an approved driver improvement course. The course must be approved by the
traffic safety bureau of the state highway and transportation department.
Completion of the course must have occurred within 90 days immediately
preceding the application for reinstatement of the license.
B. The driver must also successfully complete
the written driver's examination and the vision examination which are
administered by the department prior to the reinstatement of the driver's
license.
