The State Motor Carrier Advisory Council established by chapter 656 of the Laws of 1993 is housed within the department. Correspondence shall be addressed to the Advisory Counsel, Department of Transportation, Building 5, Room 311, Averill W. Harriman State Office Building Campus, Albany, NY 12232.
