N.Y. Comp. Codes R. & Regs. Tit. 4 § 207.12 - Expedited rendition of award
(a) Should the parties mutually agree to an
expedited rendition of the arbitrator's award, notice in the form of a joint
request in writing shall be received by the director of conciliation before
designating the arbitrator.
(b) The
decision of the arbitrator shall be in the form of an award only, and shall be
rendered within seven days after the arbitrator has declared the hearing
closed.
