Or. Admin. Code § 250-010-0085 - Capacity Plates
This rule applies to monohull boats less than 20 feet in length, except sailboats, canoes, kayaks, inflatable boats, and other boats exempted by the U.S. Coast Guard. Each boat must display a capacity plate which shall meet the following specifications:
(1) The information relating to maximum
capacity required to appear thereon shall be determined in accordance with
methods and formulas recognized by the United States Coast Guard, as published
in 33 CFR 183.23.
(2) The plate
shall be of a form and size prescribed by 33 CFR 183.25.
