Or. Admin. Code § 471-070-5200 - Due Dates for Balances Owed to the Department
(1) Unless otherwise specified in statute or
administrative rule, balances owed to the department under ORS chapter 657B are
considered due and payable as of the date the decision causing the balance due
becomes final.
(2) "Final" means a
decision made under this chapter for which the timeframe to request a hearing
as described in OAR 471-070-8005 has expired, unless
a timely request for a hearing with the department regarding the decision has
been filed in which case "final" means when the decision issued following the
hearing, or any appeal of the hearing, has been issued and the time period to
further appeal that decision has passed without a timely appeal being
filed.
