Or. Admin. Code § 603-029-0375 - Vesicular Diseases
(1) Immediate
notification shall be given by the inspector to the State Veterinarian when any
meat animal is found to be affected with a vesicular disease.
(2) No meat animal under quarantine by State
or Federal animal sanitary officials on account of a vesicular disease will be
given ante-mortem inspection. If no quarantine is invoked, or if quarantine is
invoked and later removed, upon ante-mortem inspection, any meat animal found
to be affected with vesicular exanthema or vesicular stomatitis in the acute
stages, as evidenced by acute and active lesions or an elevated temperature,
shall be identified as Oregon Condemned and disposed of in accordance with OAR
603-029-0365.
