55 Pa. Code § 41.119 - General scope of discovery
(a)
Parties may obtain discovery regarding a matter, not privileged, that is
relevant to the claim or defense of another party in a provider appeal,
including the existence, description, nature, custody, condition and location
of the books, documents or other tangible things and the identity and location
of persons having knowledge of a discoverable matter.
(b) Except to the extent inconsistent with or
as otherwise provided in this chapter, discovery shall be governed by Pa.R.C.P
4001-4020 as authorized by this chapter. The term "court" as used in the
Pa.R.C.P. means "Bureau"; the term "prothonotary" or "clerk of court" as used
in the Pa.R.C.P. means "Formal Docketing Unit."
