Utah Admin. Code R131-9-3 - Legislative and Governor's Areas of Jurisdiction
(1) The Board recognizes the Legislature has
jurisdiction in the legislative area as described in Section
36-5-1,
Utah Code, with certain exceptions described in Section 36-5-1.
(2) The Board recognizes the Governor has
jurisdiction in regard to those areas reserved for the Governor in Section
67-1-16,
Utah Code, with certain exceptions described in Section 67-1-16.
(3) To the extent permitted by law, the
Executive Director may enter into agreements with the Legislative Management
Committee in regard to the legislative area under legislative jurisdiction and
with the Office of the Governor in regard to the area reserved for the Governor
under the Governor's jurisdiction.
