Utah Admin. Code R23-29-7 - Building Official
Pursuant to Subsection 63A-5b-604(7)(a)(iv), for projects delegated on a categorical basis pursuant to this rule, the role of compliance agency under Title 15A, State Construction and Fire Codes Act, shall be filled by the division's building official for the Utah Department of Transportation. The University of Utah and Utah State University shall use an in-house building official or contract for a building official; all as approved by the division's building official. The director may change the foregoing designations at any time.
