Utah Admin. Code R277-212-5 - Hearing Parties' Representation
(1) A UPPAC attorney shall represent the
complainant.
(2) A respondent may
represent himself or herself or be represented, at the respondent's own cost,
by legal counsel.
(3) An informant
has no right to:
(a) individual representation
at the hearing; or
(b) to be
present or heard at the hearing unless called as a witness.
(4) A respondent shall notify the
Executive Secretary in a timely manner and in writing if the respondent chooses
to be represented by legal counsel.
