Utah Admin. Code R277-630-5 - Grant Process for LEAs that Choose to Use an Alternative Provider to Provide Elementary Instruction for Child Sexual Abuse and Human Trafficking Prevention
(1) An LEA may
apply for a grant to use an alternative provider to provide elementary
instruction for child sexual abuse and human trafficking prevention by
submitting a proposal on a form approved by the Superintendent.
(2) A proposal submitted in accordance with
Subsection (1) shall:
(a) provide the name of
the approved alternative provider that the LEA is utilizing;
(b) state whether the alternative provider is
employed within the LEA or at a third-party organization; and
(c) provide the amount of funds being
requested and a plan for how the funds will be used in compliance with Section
53G-9-207.
(3) The Superintendent shall grant awards to
qualifying applicants on a first-come, first-served basis.
(4) Grant awardees shall comply with
reporting and evaluation requirements established by the
Superintendent.
