Utah Admin. Code R383-13-3 - Availability of Expedited Review
(1) To qualify
for expedited review by the Department, an individual submitting the petition
shall meet the following criteria:
(a) be
diagnosed with a terminal illness;
(b) have a life expectancy of six months or
less;
(c) present symptoms not
adequately managed with standard therapies that may reasonably be expected to
be alleviated by medical cannabis; and
(d) have a recommendation from a QMP who is
directly and regularly involved in the individual's medical care.
