Utah Admin. Code R386-702-9 - Non-Compliance with Reporting Regulations
(1) Any person who
violates Rule R386-702 may be subject to penalty or sanction as provided in
Sections 26B-7-219 and
26B-7-316.
(2) Willful non-compliance may result in the
Department working with other agencies to incur penalties that may include loss
of accreditation or licensure.
(3)
Records maintained by reporting entities are subject to review by Department
personnel to assure the completeness and accuracy of reporting.
(4) If public health conducts a surveillance
project, such as assessing the completeness of case finding or assessing
another measure of data quality, the Department may, at its discretion, waive
any penalties for participating entities if cases are found that were not
originally reported for whatever reason.
