(1) Authority for
this rule is found in Section
26B-7-105.
(2) The purposes of this rule are to clarify
when a newborn infant hearing screening requires testing for Cytomegalovirus
(CMV), medical practitioner reporting requirements, and under what
circumstances a newborn infant may not fall under the CMV testing
requirements.
