Utah Admin. Code R432-101-11 - Quality Assurance
(1) The licensee
shall have a well-defined quality assurance plan designed to improve the
delivery of patient care through evaluation of the quality of patient care
services and resolution of identified problems.
(2) The licensee shall ensure that the
quality assurance plan is consistent with the plan for patient care services
and is implemented and include methods for:
(a) identification and assessment of
problems, concerns, or opportunities for improvement of patient care;
(b) eliminating identified problems where
possible;
(c) improving patient
care;
(d) documentation of
corrective actions and results; and
(e) reporting findings and concerns to the
medical, nursing, and allied health care staffs, the administrator, and the
governing board.
(3) The
licensee shall maintain documentation of minutes of meetings for department
review.
