Utah Admin. Code R432-270-17 - Arrangements for Medical or Dental Care
(1)
The licensee shall ensure residents are assisted in arranging access for
ancillary services for medically related care including:
(a) physician;
(b) dentist;
(c) pharmacist;
(d) therapy;
(e) podiatry;
(f) hospice;
(g) home health; and
(h) other services necessary to support the
resident.
(2) The
licensee shall ensure care through one or more of the following methods is
arranged:
(a) notifying the resident's
responsible person;
(b) arranging
for transportation to and from the practitioner's office; or
(c) arrange for a home visit by a health care
professional.
(3) The
licensee shall ensure a physician or other health care professional is notified
when the resident requires immediate medical attention.
