Utah Admin. Code R432-750-22 - Hospice Inpatient Facility Staffing Requirements
(1) A hospice inpatient facility licensee
shall provide competent hospice-trained nursing staff 24 hours a day to meet
the needs of a patient in accordance with the patient's plan of care.
(2) The licensee shall ensure a
hospice-trained registered nurse is on duty 24 hours a day to provide direct
patient care and supervision of any nursing services.
(3) Nursing services shall include
treatments, medications, and diet as prescribed.
