Utah Admin. Code R432-750-27 - First Aid
(1) The licensee
shall ensure that at least one staff person is on duty 24 hours a day who is
certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and has training in basic first aid,
the Heimlich maneuver, and emergency procedures.
(2) The licensee, except those attached to a
medical unit, shall ensure that a first aid kit is available at a designated
location in the facility.
(3) The
licensee shall have a basic first aid manual approved by the American Red
Cross, the American Medical Association, or a state, or federal health
agency.
