Utah Admin. Code R434-100-2 - Definitions
As used in this rule:
(1) "Department" means the Utah Department of
Health.
(2) "Health care facility"
means a doctor's office, local health department, clinic, or licensed health
care facility where a J-1 visa waiver physician may work under the supervision
of the sponsoring physician.
(3)
"Primary care physician" means a physician who specializes in general internal
medicine, family medicine, general pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, or
psychiatry.
(4) "Principal" means
any person who owns 10% or more beneficial or equitable interest in the health
care facility.
(5) "Subspecialty
care physician" means a physician who specializes in a specialty other than
general internal medicine, family medicine, general pediatrics, obstetrics and
gynecology, or psychiatry.
