Utah Admin. Code R657-9-5 - Permit Applications for Tundra Swan, Band-tailed Pigeon, and Sandhill Crane
(1) A person must
obtain a permit before taking any migratory game bird, except for:
(a) American Crow;
(b) Mourning Dove;
(c) White-winged Dove; and
(d) Waterfowl except for Tundra
swan.
(2) Tundra swan
permits are issued pursuant to Section
R657-62-22.
(3) Band-tailed pigeon permits may be
obtained from division offices, through the mail, and through the division's
internet address by the first week in August, free of charge.
(4)
(a)
Sandhill crane permits will be issued pursuant to Section
R657-62-21.
(b) Residents and nonresidents may
apply.
(c) The application period
for Sandhill crane is published in the guidebook of the Wildlife Board for
taking Waterfowl and migratory game birds.
(d) A person may obtain only one Sandhill
crane permit each year.
