Utah Admin. Code R714-160-20 - Off-Highway Vehicles
(1) The inspector
shall check vehicles that have been modified for off-road use for compliance
with the safety inspection rules, Utah state law, and federal motor vehicle
safety standards:
(a) the inspector shall
issue a rejection inspection certificate when:
(i) a vehicle does not meet all inspection
requirements for a regular passenger vehicle;
(ii) a vehicle does not provide an enclosure
or cockpit for the driver and occupants; or
(iii) the vehicle has a Baja or T-bar style
bumper.
