Utah Admin. Code R746-200-6 - Reconnection of Discontinued Service
A. Public utilities shall have personnel
available 24 hours each day to reconnect utility service. Service shall be
reconnected as soon as possible, but no later than the next generally
recognized business day after the customer has requested reconnection and
complied with all necessary conditions for reconnection of service; which may
include payment of reconnection charges and compliance with deferred payment
agreement terms.
B. If a customer
requests reconnection or other services outside of the utility's normal
business days or hours of operation, the utility shall inform the customer of
any additional charges or terms, as specified in the utility's tariff
provisions, applicable to the customer's request.
